about this one. the mystery lottery winner. the california woman who lost the ticket in her car for months. now, she's coming forward to claim a $23 million jackpot, just in the nick of time. abc's nick watt has the story. >> reporter: these security camera photos show the $23 million winner leaving the store after she bought her ticket back in may. >> i remember, the lady walked in. she bought a bottle of water. she walked out. as soon as she got to the door, her mom called out, just buy a lottery ticket. >> reporter: lottery officials were hoping, praying someone would recognize her before it was too late. the mystery winner bought just one ticket. it cost her a single dollar. but if you don't claim your winnings within six months, the cash goes to the california school system. she had only until november 30th to come forward. local tv stations and newspapers were all over the tale of the mystery millionaire. then, late yesterday, a break. the woman's daughter spotted her mother on tv. mum had no idea she was the winner. cue a frantic search of her car for the five-month-old s
